Inspection of a truck transporting spent-laying hens to slaughter
On the night from June 9th to June 10th, a team from Eyes on Animals was on the roads in the Netherlands to check on the welfare of animals bring transported to slaughterhouses in the dark hours. Checking on turkeys being transported
Late at night we trailed a poultry truck heading east. By the time it got to Meppel it finally stopped at a gas station and we were able to take a closer look and speak to the driver.
