Compliments to the Dutch transport company "Sleegers". The EonA/AWF team in Hungary partly trailed and had stopped one of his trucks today on the highway near Szeged. Early this morning the EonA/AWF team dropped unannounced to the poultry slaughterhouse Zalabasomfi in Pacsa, Hungary. This plant slaughters broilers and turkeys. The transport of birds remains problematic, with catching and loading conditions often leading to injuries. Although this is not our normal work, Eyes on Animals could not ignore this plea for help. A dog in southern France had been abandoned and the British tourists that found him and were feeding him were desperate to find a good home for him.
